About Me

Dr. Barsoum is one of the co-founders of Nexus Impact and its Director of Strategies. She is a Professor at The American University in Cairo. She has published extensively in top-tier journals on issues pertaining to green jobs and green transitions, women’s and youth employment and social policies in the Middle East.
